A WINTER WEDDING In my life right now, it is well & truly wedding season! Last year we attended 5 weddings, and the one to finish the year with a bang, was that of our very dear friends, Mike & Lauren.
Just before Christmas in Brooklyn, NYC, this spectacular winter wedding saw us dancing the night away, in a party like no other!
With the ceremony in a truly breath taking Polish church, with all eyes on the stunning bride, and then a beautiful reception in a converted warehouse – with a specially imported 18ft Christmas tree! Guests were greeted by a live singer serenading old New York Sinatra tunes, with the room decorated with twinkling lights around the tree + against the raw brick walls.
I love that Lauren had her bridesmaids in individual black gowns, each complementing their personal style. The bridesmaids where also adorned in gold & onyx SAMANTHA WILLS jewels: Earrings, ring & cuff – The jewels had a bohemian feel to them, which I think work perfectly to finish the luxe-bohemian look, at this black tie event! Also a special mention to the Mothers of the Bride & Groom, both adorned in gold sequin gowns – perfection.
As the 2015 wedding season is about to kick off again, without a doubt, this was the perfect way to finish of 2014. Friends, Love & Celebrations!
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Heist! – SWx
